Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

no insurance w/ passenger

I don't have insurance on my car. Someone told me there is a law, valid in california, that states that if you get into an accident, and you don't have insurance on the car, that their health insurance might not have to pay for anything. Is this true?

Yes, you need liability insurance to be able to recover pain and suffering. However, this law does not include medical expenses, economic losses, property losses. It only covers pain and suffering. Call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
