Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
My parents auto insurance company cancelled their auto insurance on 8/14/09 even though the total amount due was paid in full on 8/7/09. The insurance company claimed they sent numerous letters asking for other individuals', living in my parents household, drivers license numbers and there insurance policies. We never recieved any mail. The insurance company also claimed they sent a refund check to the household, but the check was never recieved or cashed. We tried calling a representative, but they were very unhelpful. Is there any we can get my parents insurance back dated and reinstated?

Unless there was an accident for which you are seeking coverage, it's better off to have your parents' insured by another insurance carrier that wants their business.
