Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
Never received medical benefits as promised by my employer
I started a new position in early June 2006 and on my offer letter, it states:
''Medical benefits commence on completion of one full month of employment (i.e., start date of 2/1, benefits commence 3/1; start date of 2/2, benefits commence 4/1, etc.''
My medical benefits were supposed to start on 8/1, however, I never received them and when I brought it up with my employer, I was fired the next business day. Do I have a case?

Maybe. Do you have any proof of the reason for your termination? What were you hired to do and for how long? Did you get paid monthly, weekly, daily, etc? Salary per hour, per week, per month, annual, etc. More details are needed.
