I rented a storage a few months ago. My storage was recently robbed, I had 2 locks on it. When I went to my unit the public storage lock was on it. I immediately went to the front office and asked them what happened to my locks? They said they found it like that so put a lock on it. When I opened it up, I immediately saw that my $2500 52 inch big screen was missing and my stereo equipment. I had insurance for the unit. Because there was no evidence of a break in or forced entry and the locks were nowhere to be founds they denied my claim. What can i do?

Yes, there was evidence of a change in your circumstanced: the front office put their own lock on it after noticing (how by the way did this occur?) no locks at all. If they found it like that, why didn't they contact you immediately as their records showed you as the renter. Consider a small claims action against them.
As for your insurer, this denial is probably wrongful. You can also sue them in small claims. Just have proof of ownership of your items, receipts, etc., or possibly a credible witness who knows you owned the items.
