Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
Do I Need To Replace My Green Card If My Last Name Has Been Change Due To Marriage?
I have obtained my green card in June 2010 through family (with my daughter). The card will be expired in June 2020. In March 2012 I changed my last name due to marriage. I have changed my driving license and SS card on my husband's name. Does the Immigration law requires to replace my green card now or I can keep it as it is and show it together with a marriage certificate when I travel to my native country? Can I keep my green card with my previous last name on it until I apply for citizenship in 1-2 years? I am not sure when Im eligible to apply for citizenship if I married in March 2012 but actually my husband and I have been living together in USA since Jan. 2010..

You mistakenly posted your question under insurance law rather than immigration law. You will be more likely to get a useful response if you re-post it under that category.
