Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
subrogation property damage
My Lanlord's insurance co. (under
their subrogation provision) wishs to
collect payment from me for a claim
by another tenant that my plexiglas
that i used as a sky light over the
roof access portal in my apt
2.5' x 3' that was blown off roof in a
major wind storm and damaged
his car. the insr. co paid $1700 and
now wants me to pay them back.
should i settle with their collection
agency or fight.
