Uninsured and unauthorized driver
A friend of mine, uninsured and not on my insurance policy, took my car to run errands and hit someone. How do I protect myself. I am insured, he has no insurance- other drivers are not covered on my limited liability policy.

Report the accident to your insurance company and tell them he took the car without permission. They may not cover him but they should cover you if you are sued as the owner.
