Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

Vehicle Accident Liability

I was in an accident with an 83 year old woman who turned left in front of me on a green light. She admitted fault. She and I told police the same exact story. I get the police report and some witness tells a completely different story and says my light was red and I hit her. Her insurance company says they won't fix my car even though she admits fault because of the witness. My insurance company says I'm not at fault but they won't fight to fix my car cause I only had liability insurance. They will only fight if they are asked to pay for damages. What do I do? The police said it was clearly her fault but then the report says they can't fault anyone because of this witness. Can her insurance do this even when she admits fault?????

Re: Vehicle Accident Liability

Sue her in small claims court for the cost of repairing your car. Subpena the police officer to whom she admitted she was at fault. If you win, her insurance company will pay.
