Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
What can she do?
A woman seperates from her husband but cannot afford to divorce him as she is destitute. She has been seperated from him for three years now. In the beginning of their seperation her husband gets into an accident with a car that both their names are in with no insurance. Now, Three years later, she is getting back on her feet and the insurance company of the other car is taking the wife to court because they cannot find the husband. What can she do to keep the insurance company from collecting from her?

she needs to find a lawyer to defend her, otherwise, she is screwed. She could also discharge it with a bankruptcy.
