Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
Workers Comp Failure to Respond
Insured sent Officers and Directors Coverage/Exclusion Endorsement to workers comp Insurer. Insurer failed and refused to respond for three months. California Code of Regulations, Title 10, Subchapter 7.4, Consumer complaint Section 2694(a)(5) specifies that a response should be within 15 days absent a different time frame set forth in the CIC or CA Code of Regulations. Is the time frame 15 days or is there another provision somewhere else? WHAT IS THE TIME WITHIN WHICH AN INSURER HAS TO REPSOND TO AN INSURED?

Re: Workers Comp Failure to Respond
What response did you expect - you only sent the endorsement. Was it added to your policy? What exactly is the problem, as your question is unclear.
