Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California

What is allowed in music sharing without breaking record label laws of piracy? If I want to send music through email/a website, is that allowed as long as I have purchased the music myself?

As a franchise attorney I agree with the other attorney. The fact that you purchased the music does not give you a right to resell it. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
