Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California
My companies initials are "UJB" should I just trademark the logo with the initials? Or should I spell the companies name out with the initials and trademark that?

It completely depends on how you plan on branding your company (and what is available as a trademark).
Choosing the right trademark is very important and can be tricky at times. It depends on a variety of factors, including the business type and how it will be used and displayed. It also requires research into other similar marks and products. I often get clients who tried to file a TM themselves, got rejected, and then had to re-start the process with an attorney. I would be happy to provide you with a free consultation.
