Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California
a company is operating under my web domain name. i have owned the name since 2005. can i file a lawsuit?

You could, but you would have better results filing a claim with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) about the domain registration. If someone has stolen your domain or is using your trademark as their domain name, there are procedures to get it back.
