Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California

Contract for purchasing a website

Hi,

I'm planning on purchasing an entire

website - the domain name including

all of its current content (text, graphics

design, video, sound) and I'm

wondering what kind of contract I'd be

needing for that?

I guess just a simple domain name

transfer contract won't be enough as I'd

still like to use their existing content...?

Thank you in advance.

Jay

Re: Contract for purchasing a website

You are right. You need to transfer or license all of the intellectual property rights in the site in addition to the domain name change.
