Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California

Employment of nude models

I am a amateur photographer who is going to be taking some nude photos of women over 18 who are willing to do this. Then I plan to sell to magazine who has already agreed to buy photos. What type of contract do I need to have with models? Is there a law that covers nude modeling for hire?

No special law for nude shots

Greetings,

You don't need a special contract for this deal, but you do need to have a contract thatspells out the rights and duties of the parties.

Specifically, you have to cover the price forthe photo shoot and the photographer's copyrightin the pictures. There's a little more to it;you can page me via voice mail if you want at my 800 number or send e-mail if you want to discuss it more.

Respectfully,

Scott Pearce
