Hi, i have created a small commercial audio editor, can i use it and recreate popular songs/tunes to demonstrate its capabilities?

Generally, you may not use or alter and rebroadcast material that is not yours. There are sources for public domain and free stock songs. Perhaps you could review the terms of the license associated with those and use them.
