Friend Use Me Ebay Acct to Sell DVD

One of my friend,Ed, 'rent' my ebay acct to sell DVDs. He said his cousin overseas has some legal dvd for sale since his family own a store. So the cousin do listing, shipping, answering emails overseas. Ed do refunds thru my paypal in US. Ed would tell me when to transfer money to his bank acct, n i get 2% of the amt transfered as 'rent'. I do not involve in the biz operation, and have no idea that he was selling pirated copies until I check on my acct on March. It was hard to tell from the listing but there was customer complaning. I immediately stopped the activities by changing the acct password and quit contact with him. Later I received a Summon, plaintiff is Columbia Pictures, suing for max penatly, their lost for 3 movies sold thru my acct. What can i do? I am a victim too being used. I do not benefit from the sales profit at all. Can i counter claim Ed? How can i prove i have no intention to do this? What is my right? If they fine me i really have no money to pay, i only have a 2000++ job, a 16 yr old honda, sharing a rented house with 5 ppl, and work during weekends for extra cash. Please help!!!

Unfortunately, nobody is going to believe your story. I don't believe your story. Since Ed is your friend, I am sure he will be happy to pay the movie studio the money you owe them.
