Do we need to have manufacturers ok to post their product picture/description if you have the ok from their authorized distributor to post their catalog?

Not if the distributor is authorized to grant you permission. There are various simple ways to safely handle this issue. Let us know if you want help developing a procedure to protect you and keep this simple.

The distributor may be authorized to grant you permission, but it would make sense to ask permission of the manufacturer, if you can.
