Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California
I live in a neighborhood with CC&R's governed by a Home Owner Association which I pay a monthly fee to.
My neigbor has enclosed a covered porch as a permanent structure without a permit from the local goverment or our HOA. It is a dangerous structure and it needs to be removed. It also looks terrible and it is bringing down the proberty value of my house. The HOA is suppose to enforce the rules the architectual commitee has set for the neighborhood. The neighbors have finished the structure and are using it. The building is not up to code and in complete violation. What can I do as a neighbor to get the blight removed?

You have asked your question in the wrong catagory. Intellectual Property is patents, trademarks, copyrights, and related law, which are largely governed by Federal Law. Your question is about Real Property which is governed by California law. Please re-ask your question accordingly, and I am sure a California attorney will answer you.
Kind regards.
