A notice of non-opposition to a motion is nothing more or less than a party's statement that it does not intend to present any opposition to a motion then on file and coming up for hearing. The court will then generally grant the motion, if it is also acceptable to the court. Filing such a notice is done to speed things up and to assist the court in avoiding unnecessary research work in reaching decisions on motions.
