Finding investors and protecting patents are two very distinct areas of legal specialization. I would be very cautious about entrusting both areas to a single attorney or small firm. Be sure whomever you retain has some depth of experience in each (or either) field. In particular, finding investors is tricky; a license to practice law is not to be confused with a license to act as a securities dealer, which is what one becomes upon going out and soliciting investors.
