Using Prayers on Products

Can I use the AA Serenity Prayer on a

product like a bookmark , T-shirt or

magnet that will be sold? On another

note, what about other prayers and

religious passages used in the Bible?

You will need to get permission to use any prayer that belongs to someone else, if you plan to make money off of it. We can assist you in determining who owns what and what is in the public domain.

Prayers written by or for AA will not be public domain, and you'll need permission. With respect to anything in the Bible, I think it is commonly considered that God is the author and I have never heard that He expects permission or royalties to use His word.
