Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California
a few questions
My partner and I have a general partnership. We operate a website that provides free debt information to consumers. (1)How should we protect the information on the website? (2)How can we protect ourselves legally? (3)What type of lawyer should we seek to read over our entire website, including all of our articles?

Re: a few questions
basically any attorney with copyright, business, and/or intellectual property experience should be able to more than adequately protect your business and legal interests. if you would like further legal assistance in this area, feel free to email me directly with more information and/or how you might like to proceed.
Re: a few questions
There are a number of methods you can use to protect your information, including, but not limited to, copyright, trademark and contract related protections. As with any area of the law, it is always a good idea to seek out someone that specializes in those areas--e.g. intellectual property attorneys--and if possible seek an initial free consulation from someone in your locale. Feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss your situation in greater detail.
