Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California

Hello. I recently made a film that I plan on copyrighting myself as an individual. The recent film includes footage from my previous copyrighted film in my own name.

On my copyright application for my new film, do I need to state that there is preexisting work included from my own film or do i not have to state that since I owned the previous work in my own name?

Thank you.
