Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California
I have a utility patent on an exercise machine I invented.
It has a unique design. Does not look like any other exercise machine.
Is it worthwhile to get a design patent as well?

This is not a question that can be answered by an attorney who has no additional information about your circumstances, the current market for your invention, the uniqueness of the design and the relation of the design to marketability, or anything else. I presume you have some knowledge of the cost and value of the additional patent, and have read up on design patents from sources such as: http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/pac/mpep/documents/1500_1502_01.htm
Answering this would be like answering a storekeeper who writes to LawGuru: "I have fire insurance, should I also get flood insurance?"
