Legal Question in International Law in California
International Distribution Agreement
I'm in the midst of negotiating a exclusive distribution contract with a brazilian swimwear company and I'm not sure who should have the governing law rights in case of a dispute. Should it be the courts in brazil or the courts in the US? Also wondering about arbitration through AAA.

Re: International Distribution Agreement
It depends on a whole host of issues (inventory location, insurance, country of collection, etc.). This is a difficult question to answer without seeing the agreement or understanding more about the business. You should have your agreement reviewed by an atty to ensure proper protection. Feel free to contact my office via phone or email.
