money received from other country

Do I have to pay taxes on money that I received from Europe in form of compensation for war dispacement?

If you are a US resident or citizen then you will have to pay taxes on most types of income during the year either to a foreign government or to the IRS. A tax attorney or accountant would need to know more details to give you a reliable answer.

Your query is incomplete. You have not disclosed the name of country which is matterial as law differ from from country to country
