Legal Question in Investment Law in California
Can legal action be taken against a homeowner for not making HOA payments for past 2years. Have not lived in home for 2years, and have not been able to make mortgage payment for past years and home has still not foreclosed. HOA board is stating that it can take legal action against me to makeback payments and lawyers fees. Is this possible?

Not only is it possible, it's commonplace and likely.
