Legal Question in Investment Law in California

promissary notes

dated 1991...12/4/91 issued...no collection...but some other scheme was offered..my mother put my name as a one third owner of 2$20,000notes..she passed on 4 yrs ago...i never knew of my name being on the notes..her property was trusted to me (one half share)...the debtor is my aunt's neighbor (stilll)..so he'S findable...how to get more info, and colllect...thank-you

When were the notes due? They may be uncollectable if too much time has passed since they became due or went into default. You should re-ask your question when you are able to make it clearer and more complete.
