With all respect to your parents, you need to get your legal advice only from YOUR LAWYER, not your parents, the cops, or the DA. Go to your court date and at least you will have a public defender (bad parents for not helping you get a private lawyer). There is no hurry to plead guilty. A burglary conviction will royally screw up your life and it will never come off your record. Blacking out is a great sign that You Have A Drinking Problem. Go to an AA meeting every day and bring your signed program card to court with you.
