Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in California

if my under age child gets caught stealing at Target store do i have the right to be in the room when she is being questioned

I'm not sure if you're asking about being questioned by the store or by the police.

The store may have policies about how they handle juveniles, but as to both the store or with the police, the answer to whether or not you have the right to be present - the answer is no.
