The IRS is not going to put you in jail. One of these days she will wise up, go to family court, and get full custody plus child support and you won't be able to afford it, that's when you will need to start worrying about jail. The large amount of money that will eventually be taken out of your paycheck for child support can be lessened by your going to court, being declared the father, and getting either custody (yeah right) or a visitation order that gives you as much time with your daughter as possible. The amount of the support order depends on the percentage of time you spend with the kid.
If she is really smart, or she gets good advice, she will accuse you of domestic violence or child abuse and get a restraining order; this is done in order to reduce your parenting time to 0% thereby enabling her to get the maximum support order.
