Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in California

My parental rights were terminated although I complied with my case plan entirely. My attorney's failure to submit evidence on my behalf caused it. Now my daughter is trying to be adopted by two women who are gay. I appealed the adoption in a timely fashion. But I don't have much money left and don't know if I need an appellate attorney who specializes in juvenile dependency law or is there such a thing. I have $3000 now but just don't have the remaining $4500 all in one lump sum. I can make payment installments.
Due to my lack of finances, I have been court appointed John L. Dodd. I have John Cahill in mind to retain but can't afford him. Can you please recommend someone who is passionate about family reunification and affordable or willing to work with me? Also, does a court appointed attorney for appellate court suck just as bad as the ones in juvenile dependency court?I believe I can appeal successfully on habeus corpus. Please help! I'm running out of time.
Since I was already appointed an attorney what happens if I am able to retain an attorney of my choice next week. My court appointed attorney wrote me a letter dated Nov. 17th for me to provide him with what I believe the issues on appeal to be.

I am sorry you were the victim of a forced adoption. No, the court-appointed appellate lawyers are not quite as bad as are the court-appointed dependency court lawyers. It is very difficult to successfully appeal a TPR (actually you should be appealing the denial of writ that your trial court attorney should have filed to quash the 366.26 hearing). If I were you, I would save your money and take your chances with the court-appointed attorney. Please feel free to call me if you like.
