Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in California

My stepson is 16 ad he is beeing charged with robbery.Its his first offense and there tryin to charge him wit a felony. He's not gulty,what do I do?

Robbery is a felony and it cannot be reduced to a misdemeanor, so if they think the elements of robbery are there, they're charging him with it. It's also a "strike" under California's "Three Strikes" law - and even juvenile cases can count as strikes.

If he's not guilty, then he should fight it. If you cannot afford an attorney to represent him, the public defender's office will be appointed.
