Legal Question in Employment Law in California
13 employees Looking for Lawyer for Class Action Lawsuit
My company has 36 locations in the US. They are a franchisee of a major Corporation which has over 1,000 restaurants located in 48 states and Canada. I was the General Manager of one location. At our location the District Manaser requested I hire more Mexicans because they work harder for less money.(Comments witnessed by 2 employees) 4 of my Mexican employees are illegal immigrants that the company is aware of. When I disagreed to hire racially I was replaced with a Mexican '' Trouble shooter'' who reduced the schedules or terminated 10 employees. Several of the employees accused the new General Manager of racism. Every caucasion employee at the location has experienced hourly reductions, every Mexican has received increased hours. Currently 3 presently employed workers and 10 Former employees are interested in representation. We have 2 years of documentation that correlate with the company log and lots of individual testimonies. Do we have a case? What can we do about this? Is this racial discrimination? Would any lawyer like to have lunch with all of us?

This is a case of reverse discrmination. I have many questions: 10 former employees when did they leave the company? The company has any office in califonia? Did you ever file any complaint at Dept. of fair emplyment & Housing?
