Legal Question in Employment Law in California

1 minuite late

ok.... I have been getting introuble for being 1 minute late alot becase i have to help customers before i have a chance to clock in. i can't clock in earily ether cause i will get in trouble for that too.... is that right??

i have heard there is a 7 minute rule in Ca.

i also think my boss is discrinating aganst me cause i only have one hand..... i don't know

If you are late, you are late. Be there on time. Do not know where people get information on these "rules". California is a right to work state, ie., they can let you go for good reason, bad reason or no reason as long as not discrimination. If you believe you have been discriminated against because of disability, you will have to prove that that is why it is being done. Call if you wish to discuss. 800-685-6950
