Legal Question in Employment Law in California

After over 10 years of employment, I was wrongfully terminated. Under our union contract, I had to go through a mediator to settle this issue. The mediator determined that I was in fact wrongfully terminated and I was entitled to reinstatement of job and backpay to "make whole". My employer wants to pay me for my basis salary and I feel that I should get paid for what I used to make, which include overtime pay and vacation pay. I won the case quite a few months ago and it still has not been settled. My case apparently is not my union representative's top priority. So, my question is that do I need to hire my own attorney or let the union representative take care of it whenever he finds time?

That's not a legal question - it's a matter of how long you are willing to wait.
