Legal Question in Employment Law in California

At age 16 I was hired at an Apple Inc. retail store. Throughout the process I fully disclosed my age, I spoke to the regional hiring manager via email and in person. I was hired at an Apple retail store, obtained a work permit from my school, and I signed all of Apple's papers along with my legal guardian. Five days after I submitted all of the papers the Apple store manager called and told me that Apple Legal and HR wouldn't let him hire me because I was under 18. Other managers in the store told me that they have hired 16 year olds many years back. Do I have any case here?
