Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Need an Attorney-Interesting Case

I started working for ''company A'' five months ago- my manager got laid off and was hired at ''company B''. He values my work and got me an interview there-they have offered me a job. A board member at ''company A'' called the CEO of ''company B'' warning them to ''stop stealing our employees''- this is a general admonishment, they don't have specific knowledge that I have interviewed (another employee from''A'' got hired there recently). ''B'' is reconsidering their offer-I feel like I am being held hostage. Do I have a valid cause of action? Can I retain an attorney to advise ''A'' not to interfere in my ability to work elsewhere?
