Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was awarded judgement against an ex employer. He refuses to pay and says he will dissolve the suit since the company name which contains an initial is showing the initial in the wrong place. (EXAMPLE: SB MAIN and the judgement is against MAIN SB). can they do that? What can I do?

If the case is filed in Superior Court, file a motion to have the Judgment corrected. Hopefully, the Summons and Complaint had the name spelled correctly. If before the Labor Commissioner/DLSE or DFEH, ask them to correct it. You won't be able to levy a bank account, etc. on any property of the judgment debtor of the name is not spelled correctly. You may find it easier to retain legal counsel to help you with this.
