bein black-balled
I was a part of a lawsuit against a company 2 years ago,since then I have not been able to get another job.I have this company on my resume,but I honestly think that they are given bad information when called for references.There is a letter from the attorney that I send with all resumes stating there's no discussing the case,but I still can't get a job. What do I do now, I need to work.

I'd be concerned as a prospective employer if the applicant sued her/his previous employer. Why attach the letter from the attorney? That seems like you're waving a red flag at the bulls in Pamplona. Can you change locales or re-train for another profession?

If you know someone who owns or manages a business, have them call the former employer and tell them they are considering hiring you - what can they tell them about what kind of employee you were. If you don't know anyone who can do this, there are private investigators who do this regularly. You will need proof that you are being blackballed in order to succeed with any case.
