how much paid leave does a fulltime hourly

employee get

when a brother dies, and the funeral is across the country? Can you be fired if you take , say, 4-5 days off?

Re: bereavement law

There is no legally required paid leave for bereavement. An employer may terminate an employee if he or she takes any time off without authorization, unless the time off is required by law.
