Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Bf works for a technician company. His shop is stationed in California but he has to drive to Oregon almost every day. They give him a schedule of jobs to do, then add on jobs throughout the day, even when he is already on overtime. He works 17 hr days and is exhausted and they never give him request time off. Is this legal?

Yes, as long as they pay him for the OT.
