Bonus payment

My employer gives a monthly end production bonus after each branch meets its quota. Since Aug. 5th of this year 2000, I was on a medical leave for a herniated disk. My question is: Am I still entitled to receive a bonus while on medical leave?

Depends on what the bonus arrangement is. Is there something in writing which spells out when the bonus is paid and when not? If there's nothing in writing, what was done with others in the past who were in a similar situation to you? I wouldn't be surprised if there are simply no rules on this, which sometimes happens. That is, the situation may not have ever come up before. Talk to your manager and inquire.
