Legal Question in Employment Law in California

My boss harassing me

My boss is harassing me because I have been complaining about a co-worker who tried to assault me 3 times. They let this co-worker get a way with it, I still work with her. I have been complaining to my boss that I am scared of her due to her past behavior towards me but my boss just told me thru email that I am just overreacting. He sent me a very long email detailing what a bad employee I am because I haven't gotten a long with other co-workers. His allegations are wrong and I have proof. His email was so harsh and the bottom line is I have no right to complain because although I am a very productive employee, I don't get along with other co-workers, so, my complaint about that co-worker who tried to assault me is not justified. He said I need psychiatric care because my level of fear towards that co-worker is not justified. Is this a case for EEOC?
