Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Breach of Employment Contract

I was hired on a one year term as the Administrator of a private Christian School. The schools Board of Directors, in thelast 5 months have decided to take over the running of the school. Today they have fired my secretary without my authorization and hired back a person I previously let go and has spoken badly about me to parents. I am not in agreement with these actions at all. There have been numerous other actions. I would like to say they have ''breached my contract'', ask them to pay me till the end of my contract (June 30, 2001) and leave. I have already ask them to leave my secretary and let me do my job.

Can I do this?
