Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Broken contract, no wages, and a coutersuit
I am a (nude) model that had an job working as an internet model, my former employer has broken our contract, is accusing me of breaking it, is now refusing to pay me, and is claiming he is going to counter sue me for $60,000 for breach of contract. I have printouts of emails between the two of us, which clearly state he terminated the contract and our business relationship, he was also not willing to discuss some of the details of the contract with me when I questioned the validity of the charges from the e-commerce company. I believe he was trying to charge money on top of the original charge from the company, isn't that embezzlement? I really need some advice on what my rights are.
Thank you.

Re: Broken contract, no wages, and a coutersuit
If you are talking about past due wages then contact the Calif state labor commissioner to get paid. If you are talking about future wages due under the contract or lost wages due to breach, you should have a lawyer look at the contract and emails to better advise you. if you are in So. Calif you can call me for a free consultation.
