Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I'm in CA and have been recruited by a company in Missouri. After interviewing with them they offered me the job and sent me a compensation package with benefits via email. I accepted the offer and they again confirmed employment verbally a total of 3 times. This week they withdrew the offer and would not tell me why. Do I have legal recourse and do I have a right to get an honest answer from them as to 'why' the offer was withdrawn?

Unless you failed to mention something of significance there should be a binding contract of employment as you accepted their offer and they confirmed the agreement. The issue will be what your damages are -- what you would have earned with them versus what you are earning , when they could have terminated your employment, difference in cost of living there and where ever you get a job, but savings of no moving costs. But you can not force an honest answer from them -- they are not going to tell you anything that reflects badly on them.
