Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I am a caregiver for seniors and sometimes I have 12 hour shifts. This work is considered part-time on-call and I am not paid overtime for hours after the first 8. Is this legal?

No, it is illegal and you may have a good case. I and my co-counsel have considerable experience in this atrea of the law. (We just settled a class action overtime case for $12 million.) I would be happy to consult with you further at no cost to you. Please contact me at 805-886-4515, or email to [email protected].
