Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I am collecting unemployment in the state of California. I was just offered a job for 16.25 an hour for 20 hours a week, which is well below what I was making. Do I have to accept the job? If I do not will I lose my benifits>

You do have to accept the job. You will then have to report the income on your periodic verifications. They then apply a formula to reduce your unemployment by a certain amount because you have replaced part of your prior income, but until you have full time work or reach a certain total income from work on a permanent basis your claim will not be closed. Your unemployment payments will just be adjusted as you go along every two weeks.
